I have replaced what was once paneling and dark woodwork to bring the light and airiness my mother always wished for. There are many childhood relics, including vintage Sports Illustrated magazines, comic books, 45 rpm records, Valentines from my father's elementary school years, and even a Pig Extractor from my grandparents' farm. My endearing chickens live nearby, and you'll get to sample their eggs!

Summary: The house itself is absolutely charming and has clearly been well maintained. To my delight, it had more supplies than I've ever encountered at a VRBO before, which made the stay incredibly convenient and comfortable. Although the house is older, it has a unique charm with memorable decor from the owner's parents, creating a warm and nostalgic atmosphere. Despite its age, the house has been tastefully updated, offering a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were clean and nice. A special touch was the breakfast that was waiting for us in the refrigerator – such a thoughtful and delightful surprise! One of the highlights was the chicken coop, which added to the unique experience, and the owner kindly allowed us to pick fresh vegetables from her garden. The location of the house was great, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Communication with the owner was excellent, and her flexibility with our stay was greatly appreciated. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!
